5句打工仔常說的錯誤英文

你每發現英文裡有一個錯誤，就表示，你的英文要進步了。每一個錯誤，都代表可能還有一大串同類型錯誤。上班族在工作場合中，經常使用的一些對話、或電子郵件往來，其實隱藏了許多你過去不曾發現的錯誤英文。

1. The meeting will be on Monday. Are you available? I know it's pretty late notice. （會議會在周一舉行。你時間上可以嗎？我知道通知得很倉促。）

→ The meeting will be on Monday. Are you available? I know it's pretty short notice.

Short notice很晚才通知是一個慣用語。

2. I’ve arranged him to attend the meeting. （我安排他去參加會議。）

→ I’ve arranged for him to attend the meeting.

Arrange（安排）通常只接一個受詞，不用arrange someone something。也可說成：I’ve arranged that he (should) attend the meeting.

3. There’s no good making your client angry. （激怒你的客戶對你一點好處都沒有。）

→ It’s no good making your client angry.

中文是說「沒有好處」，但是英文要用 it is no good V-ing，表示做某件事情沒有好處、沒有意義！

4. I work for a foreigner’s company. （我在外資公司工作）

→ I work for an international company.

外資公司直接說international company、global company或foreign company即可，不要說成「外國人」公司。

5. Sometimes my tasks are about the training tasks, and sometimes about marketing. （我的任務有時候是訓練，有時候是行銷。）

→ Sometimes my tasks are training, sometimes marketing.

這時候不需要用about，因為你的task=training。當中間不是等號，例如，他們的工作和環境相關，你可以說Their jobs are about environment.
